Jennifer Cruz Ciprian (Fer) is a Peruvian multidisciplinary artist based in North Carolina. She started her studies in Industrial Design at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru in Lima and, later, changed her major to Sculpture. After the COVID-19 pandemic, she moved to the United States to continue her education and seek new opportunities. During her time in Miami, she earned an Associate of Arts in Art at Miami Dade College and began working at museums where she discovered her passion for museum education and community engagement. Years later, she relocated to Fuquay Varina, North Carolina. Fer is currently completing a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art at Meredith College.
Her work explores memory, migration, cultural identity, and change through drawing, printmaking, ceramics, and fiber arts. Using symbols, contrast, and layers, she creates artworks that connect her personal experiences to broader questions about belonging, resilience, and adapting to new places.
