Finding business service providers that understand the unique needs of arts businesses is hard!
That's why Triangle ArtWorks created the Creative Services Network.
In collaboration with the Executive Director, we developed the Creative Services Network which is searchable online directory that connects artists, creative entrepreneurs, and arts organizations with professionals who specialize in serving arts businesses in North Carolina. Whether you are looking for bookkeepers, accountants, lawyers, videographers, photographers, graphic designers, marketing professionals, venues/spaces, and any other professional that helps artists and arts organizations of all disciplines with their art businesses.

“Please do not touch the historical objects” makes sense to adults, but for children, it can feel like a barrier to fun in a museum setting—or at least, it seems that way at first. Many families, especially those with young children, faced this challenge during their visits to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.
In collaboration with the Adult Learning and Interpretation Manager, we developed the Exploring at Vizcaya Activity Booklet to enrich the family experience at the museum. The project aimed to transform potential frustrations into opportunities for engagement by teaching Vizcaya’s art and history through games and exploration.
The process included multiple stages: conducting visitor surveys to understand family needs, researching family-focused programs at other museums, historic houses, and botanical gardens, and testing activities through trial and error. The outcome was transformative, shifting the narrative from “Mommy, I wanna go home” to “Can we stay five more minutes?”
This project not only enhanced the museum’s family programming but also demonstrated the power of blending education with play to create memorable experiences for visitors of all ages.
